The Wackerly Funeral Home is owned and operated by E.C. "Trey" Wackerly III. Trey is married to wife Rachel, and is a life resident of Canton. He is a graduate of McKinley High School, and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he earned a degree in Mortuary Science and Embalming Applied Science.
He is a life member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter's Holy Name Society, and serves as a church usher. He also is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association which he recently served as local District #16 president, the National Funeral Directors Association, Knights of Columbus, Canton Council #341, where he served as Grand Knight, the Catholic Men's Luncheon Club, where he served as president, the Catholic Consortium, and the Dr. Ken Hamilton Luncheon Forum, where he is serving as president,
Among Trey's other community-oriented interests is the Lighter-than-Air Society which focuses on flying, lighter than air objects, such as the Goodyear Blimp.
